Makane is a multi-platform application compatible with iPhone and other smartphone devices, offering a free membership to its network users. The application is divided into two primary sections: Community and Services.

The Community section features an intuitive messaging platform designed for users to share instant messages, videos, images, and other content with friends, family, and fellow Makane subscribers. This service is provided at no cost and does not require any additional in-app purchases.

The Services section requires users to have a Makane account, which can be obtained at any authorized Makane retail outlet. Upon registration through the Messenger, a dedicated purchase wallet is automatically created for the user. Users may choose to fund this wallet or leave it empty, thus using the app solely as a messaging tool. Notably, Makane does not demand in-application payments for access to its embedded services.

Makane Messenger offers broad network compatibility, supporting most carriers unless restrictions apply, utilizing the device's internet connection, including WiFi when available. Key features include:

• Free instant messaging with all contacts registered on Makane
• Real-time translation with voice playback capabilities

The Services features are accessible only when the user's wallet contains sufficient funds. For security reasons, users are prompted to enter their account password prior to each transaction or service utilization. Available services include:

• Telecom services: purchasing vouchers, DTUs, or transferring units for recharge purposes
• Bill payments via the Makane platform
• Credit transfer: instantly sending funds from one Makane wallet to another

The application also provides a transaction history feature, allowing users to review past transactions for record-keeping and account management purposes.
